Potato Kebabs are a popular snack or appetizer in many cuisines. They are usually made by mixing mashed or grated potatoes with various spices and other ingredients, shaping the mixture into patties or kebabs, and then frying or baking them until they are crisp and golden brown on the outside.

Here's the basic recipe for making Aloo Kebabs:

Ingredients:

4 large potatoes, boiled and mashed

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 teaspoon ginger paste

1 teaspoon garlic paste

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (to taste)

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

salt as per taste

Fresh coriander chopped

Bread crumbs (for coating)

Oil for frying

Instruction:

In a mixing bowl, mix mashed potatoes, chopped onions, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well till all the spices are mixed.

Shape the potato mixture into small patties or kebabs. You can give them a round or oval shape.

Roll each kebab in bread crumbs to coat it evenly. This will make the kebabs crispy when fried.

Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the kebabs in the pan, taking care not to overcrowd the pan.

Fry the kebabs till they turn golden brown and crisp from both sides. This usually takes about 3-4 minutes per side.

Once the kebabs are cooked, remove them from the pan and place them on a plate covered with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Serve aloo kabab hot with mint chutney, tamarind chutney, or any chutney of your choice.
