Singhade ka halwa is a traditional Indian dessert eaten during vrat or during fasting. The taste of this halwa is very delicious. Here is a simple recipe to make water chestnut pudding:

Ingredients to make water chestnut halwa:

Water chestnut flour: 1 cup

Jaggery or sugar: 3/4 cup 

Ghee: 1/4 cup

Milk: 1 cup

Almonds: 10-12, grated

Cashews: 10-12, grated

Pistachios: 10-12, grated Ground

cardamom powder: 1/2 tsp

Ground chaya: 8-10 (for garnish)

Instruction:

Fry water chestnut flour in a little ghee in a pan. 

In a separate pan, heat the jaggery or sugar with water, so that it melts and forms a thick syrup.

Heat ghee in another pan and add cashews, almonds, and pistachios and brown them.

Remove the browned nuts and mix them with water chestnut flour and after mixing, cook for a few minutes.

Now add milk and mix well to cook the halwa, so that all the ingredients mix well.

Finally, add cardamom powder and mix well.

Arrange the halwa on a plate and garnish with ground chana and grated nuts.

Serve water chestnut pudding fresh and eat it hot.
