Whenever we think about pakodas, our mouths water. Pakodas can be made with many things. But today we are going to tell you about the recipe for onion pakodas. It is very easy to make them and they are very tasty. So let's know about its recipe.

Onion Pakodas Recipe:


Gram flour - 1 cup

Onion - 2

Rice flour - 2 tbsp

Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp

Green chilli - 4

Coriander (chopped) - 2 tbsp Carom

seeds - 1 tsp

Chaat Masala - 1 tsp


Salt - as per taste


-First of all, peel the onion and cut it into long and thin pieces.

-Along with that, chop green chilies finely.

-Put gram flour in a deep bottom pan.

-Add chopped onion, green chili, coriander, red chili, chaat masala, carom seeds and salt and mix.

-Prepare the solution by adding water little by little. Note that the solution should not be too thin or too thick.

-Heat oil in a pan.

-When the oil is hot, make pakodas from the batter. You can make the pakodas with a spoon or drop them into the oil by hand.

-Fry the pakodas on medium flame until they turn golden.

-When the pakodas become nicely golden, take them out and place them on blotting paper.

-Prepare all the batter pakodas in this way.

-Onion pakodas are ready. Serve them with green chutney.
