Have you ever tasted fruit custard? It tastes amazing and you can enjoy it for both lunch or dinner. So let's know about its recipe.

Material

Milk – 2.5 cups

Vanilla custard powder – 2 tbsp

Sugar – 1/4 cup

Mix fruits (chopped) – 2 cups

Recipe:

First of all, take 2 tablespoons of custard powder in a bowl. Add 1/4 cup milk and mix well. While mixing, keep in mind that there should not be any lumps of powder in it.

Now take a thick surfaced kadai/non-stick pan and heat 2 cups of milk in it on medium flame. Let the milk boil. While boiling, take care that the milk does not stick and keep stirring the milk occasionally with a spoon.

When the milk boils, add 1/4 cup sugar to it. Now turn off the gas and add the milk custard powder mixture into it. Mix it well then keep it on low flame on the gas. Cook it until it thickens. Even during this time, keep stirring the milk occasionally with a spoon to prevent it from burning.

Now take out this mixture in a big bowl. The custard will thicken as it cools. Let it cool to room temperature first, then cover it and keep it in the refrigerator for at least an hour so that it cools thoroughly.

Custard is ready. Now take mixed fruits (grapes, banana, mango, apple, strawberry etc.) according to the season and availability in the market.

Cut them into pieces. After an hour, remove the custard from the refrigerator and add chopped fruits to it.

After mixing the fruits well in the custard, keep it in the refrigerator to cool once again.

Fruit custard is ready to serve.
