To make peas and makhana, boil the peas. Meanwhile, heat ghee in a pan and fry the makhana in it for some time. Then take them out and keep them aside. Heat ghee again in the pan and add onion, green chilli and tomato and fry. Then add cashew nuts. After frying well, prepare a paste of these ingredients.

Heat mustard oil in a pan and add bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, mace, cloves, cumin, coriander powder and red chilli powder. Fry the spices well and then add tomato paste to it. mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes, then add kasoori methi and peas. Add water as required and then add makhana and salt. Mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add garam masala to it. Vegetables are ready. Garnish with green coriander and serve.
