Recipe: If you also want to eat something different then make orange barfi at home like this!
Many types of sweets are made in our homes, whose taste is different and special. Today we are going to tell you about a special sweet which is not made from traditional ingredients but from a fruit. We are talking about “Orange Barfi”. Many people like the juicy and sour taste of orange and its barfi is also very tasty. This recipe is easy to make and requires minimum ingredients and time. Let's sweeten the occasion with this special orange barfi.
400 grams khoya
400 grams of powdered sugar
1 tablespoon custard
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
1 tablespoon ghee
1/4 cup finely grated coconut
-First of all, wash the orange thoroughly, peel it, remove the seeds and keep the pulp in a bowl.
Grind khoya in a mixer and then fry it in a pan with sugar. Be careful not to burn it; Fry it on low flame.
-When it turns golden brown and roasted well, add orange pulp and finely grated coconut to it. Mix it well and keep frying.
-When the mixture becomes nicely brown and thick, add ghee, ground cardamom and custard to it. Mix it well.
- Grease a big plate with ghee and spread the mixture well on it. Flatten it and sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
- When it cools down, cut it into desired shapes. Your orange barfi is ready.
