Winter is not completely over yet and in this season people often fall prey to cold and cough. In such a situation, you can make wheat flour lapsi and eat it. It is made by adding dry ginger and carom seeds. These are things of hot nature, which help in driving away our cold. So let's know about its recipe.

Material

1 cup - Wheat flour

½ cup - Sugar or jaggery

⅓ cup - Ghee

1 tbsp - Dry ginger powder

¼ tsp Carom seeds

8-10 - Cashew nuts

5-6 - Almonds

8 - Pistachios

4-5 - Cardamom

8-10 - Raisins

Method

- First of all, heat half the ghee in the pan.

Then stir the flour thoroughly and fry until it turns brown.

- You have to fry the flour on medium flame only. When the aroma starts coming, take it out.

Now take four times the amount of flour i.e. 4 cups of water, add jaggery or sugar, and melt it.

- Keep it on the gas and heat it for a while and also add carom seeds to it.

Now filter the water and mix the flour in it. Stir it with a spoon to remove all the lumps.

- After this, keep the entire flour mixture in the pan to cook.

- Finely chop cashews, almonds and pistachios.

- When the Lapsi starts thickening a little, then you have to add the remaining ghee and dry ginger powder inside it.

- Lapsi has to be continuously stirred with a spoon so that there are no lumps in it.

Now garnish with raisins, cashews, and almonds.

- You have to cook it on low flame only. You have to make the Lapsi a little thin. If you are making halwa, let it thicken.

- Add cardamom powder and serve it hot.
