Necessary ingredients

Curd - 2 cups

Red chili powder - 1 tsp

Gram flour - 2-3 tbsp

Cinnamon powder - 1/4 tsp

Asafoetida- 1 pinch

Sugar - 2 tbsp

Rye - 2 tsp

Dry red chili - 3

Curry leaves - 8-10

Green coriander chopped - 2 tbsp

Oil - 2 tbsp

Salt - As per taste

First, take the settled curd and put it in a utensil, and beat it well first. After this, add gram flour inside it and beat it well. After this add red chili powder, cinnamon powder, sugar, salt as per taste, and 3-4 cups of water to this curd-gram flour solution.

Then put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds and red chilies inside it and fry for a few seconds. Then add curry leaves and fry them. When the spices start crackling, add the gram flour-curd mixture inside it and cook. After this, cover and cook the curry and keep stirring it in between. When the first boil comes inside the curry, reduce the flame of the gas and cover the pan and let it cook for 15-20 minutes. Then turn off the gas. Your Gujarati-flavored Kadhi is ready. Garnish it with green coriander leaves and serve with rice.
