Garlic pickle is a staple in our daily meals at home. Without garlic, pulses and vegetables do not taste as good. Therefore, no recipe seems complete without it. But have you ever eaten garlic pickles? Today we have brought this recipe for you.

Ingredients for making garlic pickle:

1.5 cups garlic cloves, 1/2 cup mustard oil, 2 teaspoons fennel, 1 teaspoon yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon black mustard, 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 spoon turmeric powder, 1 spoon asafoetida, 1 spoon vinegar

Method of making garlic pickle:

To make a garlic pickle, first take 1.5 cups of garlic. Peel the garlic cloves and wash them with clean water. Then, leave the garlic in the sun to dry. After some time, rub the garlic cloves up and down with your hands so that their moisture is removed and they dry thoroughly. Remember that there should be no water left in the garlic. Now we will prepare the masala for garlic pickle. To make the masala, take 2 teaspoons fennel, 1 teaspoon yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon black mustard, and 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds. Now put all these ingredients in a mixer or mortar and grind them.

Now heat 1/2 cup mustard oil in a pan. When the oil becomes slightly hot, add the ground spices to it. Then stir it with a spatula. After this, add 1 teaspoon of ground red chili, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, and 1 teaspoon of asafoetida. Then mix it well. Then add dry garlic to it and add salt as per taste. Turn off the gas. When it cools completely, add 1 teaspoon vinegar to it. Now your garlic pickle is ready. Store it in a container.
