Recipe: Everyone likes the taste of Paneer Makhmali, so make it like this!

Many people like dishes made from paneer. Paneer dishes are enjoyed on various occasions, and a popular dish is "Paneer Makhmali". It is not only loved for its taste but is also a great option for both lunch and dinner. The use of almond paste along with soft cheese makes this dish even more delicious. This is a simple and easy-to-follow dish, perfect to serve with roti, naan or paratha.


Paneer - 250 grams

Almonds - 15-20

Tomatoes - 4-5

Onions - 2

Ginger-garlic paste - 2 teaspoons

Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Sugar - 1 teaspoon

oil - 2-3 tbsp

salt as per taste

-First of all, soak almonds in water overnight. Use soft cheese pieces for the dish and cut them into cubes.

-Finely chop the onion and heat oil in a pan on medium flame.

When the oil is hot, add finely chopped onion and ginger-garlic paste, and fry until the onion turns light brown.

Meanwhile, put tomatoes and soaked almonds in a mixer jar and blend them. Prepare a smooth paste.

-When the onion turns golden, add tomato-almond paste to the pan and mix well.

- Add coriander powder, turmeric, red chilli powder and sugar. Keep stirring the mixture until all the spices are mixed well and cook it.

Meanwhile, cut the paneer into pieces and add them to the masala mixture. Mix well using a spatula.

Add one cup water, salt and sugar as per taste. Stir and let it cook on low flame until the gravy leaves oil.

When the gravy starts releasing oil, cook for 1-2 more minutes and then turn off the flame. Your Paneer Velvet is ready.
