In many homes, rice is prepared daily and in such cases, rice is sometimes left over. Instead of throwing away leftover rice, you can make delicious pakodas from it. Material

2 cups cooked rice

1 cup gram flour

1 tsp green chilli, chopped

2-3 tbsp coriander, chopped

1/2 tsp ginger, chopped

1/4 tsp carom seeds

1/4 tsp red chilli powder

Oil, for frying

Salt, as per taste

Method:

First of all, put gram flour in a vessel, add some water to it, and mix it well with your hands.

While mixing, mash the gram flour to remove all the lumps inside it.

Add red chili powder, carom seeds, and salt to gram flour, mix well, and prepare the solution.

Keep the prepared solution covered for 5 minutes. During this, finely chop green chilies, green coriander leaves, and ginger.

Take cooked rice in a bowl, add these three things to it, and mix well.

Take a little rice mixture in your hand and first make it round and then flatten it.

Prepare rice balls from the entire mixture.

Put oil in a pan and heat it.

After the oil is hot, take a ball of rice, dip it in gram flour, and put it in the oil.

Put the rice balls one by one as per the capacity of the pan and deep fry them.

After frying until golden on both sides, take out the rice pakodas on a plate.

Serve ready pakodas with green chutney or sauce.
