Recipe: Enjoy onion shortbread with tea, Here is the easy recipe, take note immediately!

As soon as the clock strikes 5 in the evening, the desire for tea starts increasing among tea lovers. In India, evening tea is often synonymous with delicious and spicy snacks like samosas, pakoras, and bread pakoras and one of them is the beloved "Kachori". There are different varieties of Kachori available across India. Today, we are sharing an easy recipe of Onion Kachori that you can enjoy with your evening tea or serve as a party snacks for guests. Making this Kachori is quite simple, it requires chopped onion, gram flour, and some spices. So, let's get straight to the recipe.
Ingredients:
Chopped onion
Gram flour
Cumin
Coriander seeds
Coarsely ground fennel seeds
Asafoetida
Sugar
Turmeric powder
Garam masala
Red chilli powder
Ginger paste
Mango powder
Chopped fresh coriander leaves
Chopped green chillies
Oil for frying
Salt as per taste
Instruction:
To make Onion Kachori, first add gram flour and salt in a bowl and mix.
Add water gradually while kneading a smooth and soft dough.
When the dough is ready, apply one spoonful of oil on it and cover it with a cotton cloth. give it a rest.
Now prepare the onion stuffing. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin, crushed coriander, fennel, and a pinch of asafoetida. Fry them.
After a while, add chopped onion and fry until soft and transparent.
Add ginger paste and chopped green chilies to the onion and fry for a few minutes.
Then, add all the spices including sugar, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, and dry mango powder. Mix them well.
Finally, add chopped fresh coriander and continue frying. Your onion stuffing is ready.
Now take some portions of the dough and make small balls of them. Flatten each circle slightly and place a spoonful of onion stuffing in the center.
To cover the Kachori with the stuffing, press the edges together to seal. Flatten the kachori gently.
Heat oil for frying and carefully drop the Kachori into the hot oil.
Fry them till they become golden brown from all sides. Remove them from the oil and keep them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Serve your crispy onion kachori with your favorite chutney or sauce.
