Many people keep fast for 9 days during Navratri. In such a situation, you can eat Sabudana Khichdi during the fast. It contains fibre, iron, calcium, potassium and antioxidants. Today we have brought you the recipe for making Sabudana Khichdi at home. So let us know how you can make it.

Sabudana Khichdi Recipe:

-To make good khichdi, you will have to take about 1 cup of thick sago.

Now add 1 cup water to the sago and clean it well by rubbing it with your hands.

-You have to wash sago by changing water at least 2-3 times.

Now add about 1/4 cup water to the sago and soak it for 3-4 hours.

Keep in mind that add enough water to the sago so that it gets soaked easily.

-Stir the sago with a spoon 1-2 times in between so that the entire sago gets soaked properly.

- To make Khichdi, heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan and fry some peanuts in it. Then keep them aside.

Now add 1-2 tablespoons of ghee in the same pan. Add cumin seeds and finely chopped ginger.

Now cut 2 green chillies and 1 potato into small pieces and put them in the pan.

-If you want, you can also add 1 tomato in Khichdi. It depends on your taste.

-When all the ingredients are cooked, add soaked sago to it and mix well.

-Add finely chopped coriander on top and squeeze some lemon juice.

-Your fluffy Sabudana Khichdi is ready. Serve it with peanuts on top.
