Ingredients for Tomato Chaat

4 chopped tomatoes

1/2 cup boiled white peas

1 boiled potato

1 chopped onion

1 tsp ginger finely chopped

3 to 4 green chilies finely chopped

finely chopped coriander leaves

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili

1/2 cup 2 tsp black salt

1 tsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp garam masala

1 tsp (as per taste) tamarind chutney

1/2 tsp (as per taste) coriander chutney

salt as per taste

4 tbsp oil or ghee

Tomato Chaat Recipe

To make tomato chaat, first heat three tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add ginger, green chilies, and onions and fry till the onions turn pink. Now add tomatoes and 1/2 teaspoon salt and cook on low flame for five minutes. Then add garam masala, Kashmiri red chili powder, cumin powder and fry on medium heat for two to three minutes. Now add potatoes to it and fry for two minutes. After this, add boiled peas, half a cup of water, and cook on low flame for two minutes. After this add green chutney, sour sweet chutney, green coriander, and black salt as per taste and turn off the flame. Now place the prepared ingredients on a plate, then add finely chopped onions, chilies, and green coriander to it and serve hot.
