Recipe: Betel sherbet will cool the body in summer, note down the easy recipe!

You must have consumed paan many times. It is consumed as a mouth freshener. But have you ever consumed betel sherbet? Drinking betel juice increases the production of digestive enzymes and also helps in calming pitta (heat) in the body. This is perfect for summer. Today we have brought a recipe to make it at home.

Ingredients for Sharbat Masala:

  • Betel leaves – 6-7 pieces
  • Fennel seeds - 2 tbsp
  • Dry Coconut – 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – more than a teaspoon
  • Ice cubes – 3-4
  • Rose petals – 2 tbsp
  • Gulkand – 2 tbsp
  • green food colour
  • Powdered sugar – half cup

Ingredients for Sherbet:

  • Betel leaf paste – 4 tbsp
  • powdered sugar
  • Milk
  • Fresh cream
  • Finely chopped pistachios
  • Saffron strands
  • Dried rose petals

Recipe:

-To make Paan Sharbat, first of all, you will have to buy Calcutta or Magai Paanpaan from any paan shop. Wash the betel leaves and remove the thick stalks.

- Now cut the betel leaves into small pieces. Then we will put these betel leaf pieces in the mixer jar.

-In this jar, we will add 2 tablespoons of fennel, 2 tablespoons of dry coconut, more than one teaspoon of cardamom powder, 3-4 ice cubes, 2 tablespoons of gulkand, some green food colour and half a cup of powdered sugar.

-Now we will grind this mixture finely in a grinder. Take out this paste in a bowl. For long-term use, store the paan paste in the freezer.

-Sharbat masala is ready. In the next step, take 4 small glasses and add one tablespoon of this paste to each glass.

Now pour milk into all these glasses and add one tablespoon of powdered sugar to each glass.

-Now add vanilla ice cream or fresh cream to all the glasses. Mix them well.

Now garnish the sherbet with chopped pistachios, saffron and dry rose petals.

-Your paan sherbet is ready to serve.
