You must have consumed beetroot juice many times but have you ever tasted beetroot barfi? Its taste is very wonderful. Let us know how you can make it.

Beetroot Barfi Recipe

Material:

2 medium-sized beetroots

1/2 cup milk powder

4 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp ghee

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

2 tbsp chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews) (optional)

Instruction:

- Heat ghee in a pan.

-Add grated beetroot and fry for 2-3 minutes.

-Add milk powder and sugar, and mix well.

-Keep stirring the mixture continuously until it becomes thick and smooth.

-Add cardamom powder and chopped nuts, and mix well.

-Take out the mixture on a smooth plate and spread it evenly.

-Let the barfi cool for 2-3 hours or until it sets.

-Cut the barfi into desired shapes and serve.
