Chukander Chaat Recipe: Chaat has always been everyone's favourite dish, Chaat has gained immense popularity across the country. Yam Beetroot Chaat is a delicious chaat recipe. The combination of beetroot and yam gives it a unique and refreshing taste. It can be easily prepared at home with ingredients like tamarind, salt, jaggery, cumin, red chilli powder, black pepper, chaat masala and peas. This snack recipe can be made on occasions like kitty parties, game nights and potlucks. Serve this delicious dish with tamarind and green chutney and eat it with your loved ones. Ingredients of Yam Beetroot Chaat
250 grams yam
50 grams of capsicum (green chilli)
kosher salt as needed
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp peas
2 tbsp sev
200 grams beetroot
100 grams tamarind
1 tbsp jaggery
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp chaat masala
1/4 cup curd (yoghurt)
for garnishing
200 grams of coriander leaves

Learn how to make Ratalu Beetroot Chaat
Step 1- Peel off the yam or ratalu, and beetroot and cut it into small round pieces. Wash the pieces with fresh water.

Step 2- Pour 200 grams of vegetable oil into a deep frying pan and heat the oil on high flame. Then deep fry the yam pieces till they turn brown. After this, take them out of the pan and keep them on tissue paper so that the oil gets absorbed. Also, take a frying pan and put 2 spoons of oil in it and let it heat on medium flame. After this put the beetroot pieces in the pan and fry them.

Step 3- Prepare green chutney by grinding coriander with green chillies and salt in between. Also, boil tamarind in water for 5 minutes and make chutney. After this, mash it and squeeze it and filter the pulp. Add salt and jaggery to tamarind pulp.

Step 4- Place the yam pieces in the centre and surround them with beetroot pieces. Add salt and roasted cumin, red chilli powder, crushed black pepper, and chaat masala as per taste. Further, add peas and spread a thin layer of green chutney, tamarind chutney, and curd, garnish with coriander. Just your spicy chaat is ready to eat.
