Potato Curry Recipe: Know how to make potato curry without onion, garlic and tomatoes!


In the month of Shravan, food is cooked without onion and garlic in many homes. In such a situation, tomatoes are used a lot in juices, but this month the price of tomatoes is skyrocketing. That's why people are reducing its use in cooking. Since the prices of tomatoes are also high, we have come up with a recipe for potatoes, in which tomatoes are not used along with onions and garlic.

Ingredients required:

Four potatoes boiled and chopped, 

two to three spoons of desi ghee, 

2 spoons gram flour, 

2 dry red chilies, 

one piece of ginger finely chopped, as per taste, 

two green chilies finely chopped,

a pinch of asafoetida, 

1 spoon fenugreek, 

1 1 tsp ground coriander, 

1 tsp ground fennel, 

1 tsp Kashmiri red chili, 

½ tsp turmeric


> First of all, put a big pan on the gas and add ghee to it.

> When the ghee is hot, add asafoetida, 1 teaspoon crushed green coriander, and 1 teaspoon crushed fennel.

> Now add 2 dry red chilies, a fine piece of ginger and stir it.

> After that add gram flour and fry it for half a minute.

> Finally add two finely chopped green chilies, a pinch of asafoetida, 1 teaspoon fenugreek, turmeric, and red chilies.

> After roasting all the spices, add boiled potatoes and fry them well.

> Now add 2 cups of water and salt to it and boil it for 10 minutes on low flame.

> After 10 minutes serve hot with Bhaji Puri.
