Police Bharti 2024: Recruitment will be done on 1746 posts of police constable, advertisement released!
Punjab Police has released the recruitment notification for Constable posts in District Police and Armed Police. The application process will start on March 14, 2024, and will continue till April 4, 2024. Interested candidates can visit the official website of the Punjab Police punjabpolice.gov.in to fill out the application form.
Through this recruitment process, a total of 1746 constable posts will be filled, in which 970 posts will be allotted for District Police Cadre and 776 posts will be allotted for Armed Police Cadre. Posts are also reserved category-wise. Female candidates are eligible to apply for these posts.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for Constable posts must have completed the 12th class. The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 28 years. For more detailed information on eligibility and age criteria, candidates can check the official recruitment advertisement.

General Category: ₹1150
SC, ST and BC Categories: ₹650

Selection Process:
Candidates for Police Constable posts will have to go through Computer Based Examination, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Screening Test (PST) and Document Verification. The exam pattern and syllabus have been released for the reference of the candidates.
