Here is some great news for the youth who are looking for government jobs after completing 10th class. Puducherry Police has announced vacancies for the post of Home Guard, and interested candidates can apply through the official website police.py.gov.in. The application process started on October 30, 2023, and will continue till November 29.

It is noteworthy that this recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 500 vacancies for Home Guards within the Police Department, which includes 420 posts for Male Home Guards and 80 posts for Female Home Guards. Candidates can apply for these posts as per the dates specified in the official notification on the website.

Eligibility and Age Limit:

Candidates applying for these posts must have passed the 10th-class examination from a recognized board. Applicants' age should be between 18 to 40 years, age calculation will be effective from November 29, 2023. For female candidates, the maximum age limit is 50 years, and candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for age relaxation as per the rules.

Application Process:

To apply, candidates should visit the official website police.py.gov.in, click on the “Recruitments – GoP” tab on the homepage, and complete the registration by providing the required details. After this, they should upload their documents and submit their application.

Selection Process:
