At present, many types of government schemes are running in the country, the aim of which is to benefit every needy and poor section of society. If you also want to take advantage of any such government scheme, then you can also become a part of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This scheme is for farmers, under which an annual provision of Rs 6,000 has been made, which is distributed in three installments of Rs 2,000 each.

So far, 16 installments have been transferred by the government to the bank accounts of eligible farmers and now the 17th installment is to come. So without any delay let us know when this installment is expected to be received. You can learn more about it below:

The 16th installment was distributed to farmers

On 28 February 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred the amount of the 16th installment to the bank accounts of 9 crore farmers. This money was sent to the bank accounts of eligible farmers through direct debit.

When can the 17th installment come?

Under PM Kisan Yojana, Rs 6,000 is given annually, which is divided into three installments of Rs 2,000 every four months. Accordingly, the 16th installment was released on February 28, 2024, and if we calculate, that falls around June, almost four months later.

Therefore, it is believed that the 17th installment can be released in the month of June. However, this benefit will be available only to those eligible farmers who fulfill all the criteria and complete all the necessary formalities. The first step is to get the land verification done, because farmers who do not complete this work may be deprived of the benefit of the installment.

Additionally, it is mandatory to complete e-KYC to avail of the installment benefits. You can complete e-KYC by visiting the official portal pmkisan.gov.in, CSC centers, or bank. Also, it is necessary to link your Aadhar card with your bank account.
