PM Kisan Yojana: Farmers of what age can apply under PM Kisan Yojana, know here

The central government provides financial assistance to crores of farmers across the country through PM Kisan Yojana.

Under PM Kisan Yojana, farmers get the assistance of Rs 6,000 annually, which is distributed in three instalments.

Farmers often have many questions in their mind regarding applying for this scheme and they are eager to know the answers.

One of the common questions is about the age limit to apply for PM Kisan Yojana, i.e. at what age a farmer can avail of the benefits of this scheme?

The age limit to apply under PM Kisan Yojana is 18 years. This means that farmers below 18 years of age cannot avail the benefits of this scheme.

So far, more than 11 crore farmers have applied for PM Kisan Yojana and the government transfers money to their accounts every year.

Sixteen installments of PM Kisan Yojana have been released so far and the 17th installment can be released by the end of June.
