Schools, colleges, and most companies, offices remain closed on Sundays. But do you know? There is a place in India where not only humans but animals are also given a holiday on Sundays.

Animals like cows, buffalo, and bulls help people in their work and bring income. These animals are the source of income for many people. That's why the place where these animals are given rests on Sunday, they are not made to do any work.
Actually, there is a reason behind this. Ten decades ago a bull died while working in the field. After this, the villagers decided to give rest to the animals once a week. Since then till today this tradition is going on.

This tradition started in the Latehar village of Jharkhand. After that, the same is done in the nearby villages of Harkha, Mungar, Lalgadi, and Pakrar.
