Ola's cancellation refund policy

Ola may deduct cancellation charges for any of the following reasons:

You cancel the trip 3 (three) minutes or later from the time the driver accepts the ride.

The driver cancels the trip after waiting for you at your pickup location for 5 minutes or more.

However, if the driver is delayed by more than 5 minutes from the estimated time of reaching your pickup spot, no cancellation fee will be charged.

The amount of the cancellation fee may vary depending on your city and the category of the selected vehicle.

If a cancellation fee is charged, it will be added to the total bill amount of your next Ola ride.

How to get a refund from Ola

If you believe a cancellation fee has been charged incorrectly, follow this process:

Click on 'Your Ride' in the Ola app menu.

Select the ride on which the cancellation fee has been charged.

Tap on the 'Support' button.

Select Choose an Issue, then select Charged Cancellation Fee Incorrectly.
