Dr Amit Sanghi, stomach, intestine and liver disease specialist at Narayana Hospital, Jaipur, says that due to irregular lifestyle and unbalanced eating habits, the physical balance of people is deteriorating significantly. In fact, when the amount of fat in a person's body increases, the person's weight gradually starts increasing unnecessarily. Because of this many serious problems start occurring.

Risk of these diseases

Dr Amit Sanghi says that due to increasing obesity, problems like excessive sweating every day, always feeling tired, muscle pain, breathing problems, acidity, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and snoring occur. Apart from this, the risk of many serious problems like cancer also increases. Obesity directly worsens high blood pressure and cholesterol levels in the body, which increases the risk of heart disease and stroke.

There is also a risk of type 2 diabetes due to this. Due to obesity, the risk of osteoarthritis in women increases by three to four times. Due to increased mechanical stress on the joints due to excess weight, the risk of inflammation and arthritis also increases.

According to health experts, it is important to understand that you can avoid the problem of obesity by following a healthy lifestyle and good diet.
