NID DAT Prelims 2024: National Institute of Design BDes DAT Prelims results released, check this way!

The National Institute of Design (NID) released the results of the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2024 Prelims exam on April 4. This exam is important for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program of NID. The candidates who pass this examination will now have to appear in the main examination. Candidates can check their prelim exam results on the official website admissions.nid.edu.

The admit card for the NID DAT 2024 Prelims exam was released on December 12, 2023. The exam was held on December 24, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the examination can directly check their results through this link: https://admissions. nid.edu/NIDA2024.

How to check the result:

Visit the official website of NID, admissions.nid.edu.

Click on "B.Des. DAT Prelims Result 2024-25" written at the top.

A window will open where you need to enter your email and date of birth details.

After submission, your result will be displayed on the screen.

After checking the result, save it for the future or take a printout.

How will the ranking be determined if marks are equal?

If two candidates have the same marks, the guidelines are already in place. If two candidates have equal marks, the candidate scoring higher marks in Part B of the DAT preliminary examination will be given preference. If still no solution is found, then Part A of the DAT Prelims exam will be considered. Preference will be given to the candidate with higher marks in Part A. If there is still a tie, both candidates will be given equal rank.

When will the NID BDes 2024 main exam be held?

Candidates who have qualified for the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the BDS 2024 main exam. Admit cards for the main examination will be available on April 14. The exam is scheduled to be held on April 27 and 28. The result of the exam is expected to be declared on May 21, 2024. After the declaration of results, candidates will get the opportunity to fill in their campus preferences between May 21 and May 23. The final result of NID DAT 2024 will be prepared by giving weightage to both DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.
