Ingredients for Kashmiri Dum Aloo
Boiled Small Potatoes, Tomatoes, Green Chillies, Ginger, Cashew Nuts, Green Coriander, Oil, Cumin, Asafoetida, Cinnamon, Big Cardamom, Cloves, Black Pepper, Turmeric Powder, Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Garam Masala, Kasuri Methi, Salt.
Kashmiri Dum Aloo Recipe
Step 1- To make Kashmiri Dum Aloo, boil the potatoes in one whistle, peel, and pierce them.
Step 2- Now grind tomatoes, ginger, green chilies, and cashews to make a paste.
Step 3- Then add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to the boiled potatoes and mix.
Step 4- Heat oil in a pan and fry the potatoes in it till they become crispy brown.
Step 5- Then heat the oil in a pan and heat it. Add cumin, cinnamon, clove, black pepper, large cardamom seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and kasoori fenugreek and fry it.
Step 6- Add tomato paste and Kashmiri red chili powder to the roasted spices and fry them well.
Step 7- When the oil does not start separating from the spices, then add a cup of water.
Step 8- Add garam masala, salt, and green coriander to the gravy and mix. Then add the fried potatoes and mix.
Step 9- Now cover and cook the vegetable on low flame for 4 to 5 minutes. Kashmiri Dum Aloo is ready.
