Before the elections in Delhi, a big scheme was announced for women. This scheme is called Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana, in which it was said that financial assistance of one thousand rupees will be given to women every month. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself gave information about this scheme and told how the women of Delhi will get this assistance of one thousand rupees and what will be its rules. Who will get one thousand rupees every month?

First of all, it has been made clear by the Delhi Government that all those women who are not availing the benefit of government pension, are not employed in government jobs, and do not pay tax, will be given one thousand rupees. Every woman above 18 years of age can apply for this scheme.

How to apply?

Women also have a questions in their minds about how to apply for this scheme. For this, women will only have to give a self-declaration form. That means they will have to give information in a form that fulfills all the conditions. After this, they will start getting money. However, the government has said that there will be random testing. This means that ineligible women will not get the benefits of the scheme.

When will the scheme start?

Since the announcement of this scheme by the Delhi Government, the biggest question in everyone's mind is when is this scheme actually going to start. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made it clear that this scheme will be implemented after the Lok Sabha elections. It will be placed in the cabinet meeting and the plan will be implemented a few days later. This means that this Rs 1,000 scheme may take a few months to be implemented.
