The Clade-1 strain of monkeypox virus has been wreaking havoc in this country since September 2023.
This medicine was made for smallpox

Monkeypox and smallpox are quite similar, but monkeypox is more dangerous than smallpox. Research conducted at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases of the US National Institutes of Health has found that the drug Tecovirimat is safe, but the health of people suffering from the Clade-1 strain is not improving.
