Ingredients to make Mix Cheela

For the solution-

Besan - 1 cup

Semolina - 1/2 cup

Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp

Oil

Ajwain - 1 tsp

Salt - as per taste

For Mix -

Cabbage chopped - 1 small cup

Capsicum chopped - 1

Carrot grate - 1

Ginger grated - 1 inch

Green chilies chopped - 3

Green coriander chopped - 1 tbsp

How to make Mix Cheela

  • To make a healthy mix of cheela in breakfast, first, take a deep-bottomed vessel and add gram flour, semolina, red chili powder, carom seeds, and salt and mix it well. Now add water to this mix and prepare a thin solution. Keep in mind that the batter should be thin or else the cheela will not be prepared properly if it becomes thick. After the round is ready, add chopped cabbage, carrot, capsicum, green coriander, green chili, and ginger and mix it well. More water can be added to the solution according to the need.

Now keep the flame of the gas on medium and keep a nonstick pan/tawa for heating. When the tawa becomes hot, grease it with a little oil. Then put the prepared solution in the middle of the pan with the help of a bowl and spread it in a circular motion all around. Now let the cheela cook for a while. After that turn it over. Roast the cheela by applying an oil well on both sides. Prepare cheela one by one from the whole batter in the same way. In this way the mix cheela for breakfast is ready. Serve it with tomato ketchup or chutney.
