1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 egg, 3/4 tsp fresh yeast, 2 tbsp powdered sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 cup milk, 2 tbsp desi ghee, 1/2 tsp poppy seeds or sesame seeds, melted butter, dissolved in milk Saffron

Method :

Mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt, egg, one tablespoon ghee in the dough and mix it with milk and keep it covered. After 2-3 hours, melt the remaining ghee in it and mash the dough and make balls. Roll out all the dough and press it with a fork so that the rotis do not swell. Paste poppy seeds or sesame seeds by applying water to the rolled rotis. After this, apply saffron dissolved in milk on the rotis and put them in a tray in a pre-heated oven at 180 ° C and bake till they become golden. Serve hot sheermal with melted butter.
