You can make delicious Matar Kulcha for lunch in just 20 minutes. Which is very easy to make, let's know its quick recipe.
1 cup white peas, 1/4 tsp asafoetida, salt as per taste, 4 cloves, 3 cups water
1 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tbsp garam masala, 1 tsp chaat masala, 1 tbsp cumin powder, 2 tbsp tamarind pulp, salt to taste, 2 green chilies chopped, 1 tbsp ginger flakes
1/2 cup chopped onion, 1/2 cup chopped tomato, 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Soak peas in water overnight. Wash it in the morning and boil it by adding 3 cups of water, asafoetida, cloves, and salt in a pressure cooker.
Boil till 3-4 whistles. Let the pressure of the cooker release on its own.
Take out the peas in a vessel. Add garam masala, chaat masala, cumin powder, and black pepper powder to it and mix.
After this, add tamarind pulp, finely chopped green chilies, and ginger to it, and mix the peas well.
Cook the peas on a low flame for 10 minutes so that all the ingredients are well absorbed by the peas.
Now take out these peas in a serving bowl. Put chopped onion, tomato, ginger flakes, and green coriander leaves on top.
