In a special conversation, the District Welfare Officer said that under this scheme, loans ranging from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 25 lakh are provided by the government. The applicant does not have to give any kind of guarantee regarding the loan. In this scheme, a subsidy of up to 40% or Rs 5 lakh is also given by the government. Women belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Minorities, Disabled, Backward Castes, and Sakhi Mandal can take advantage of this scheme.

Documents required for application

District Welfare Officer said that by taking advantage of this scheme, citizens will be able to become self-reliant and their standard of living will improve. Only permanent residents of Jharkhand are eligible for this. To avail of the benefits of the scheme, the application will have to be submitted along with a residence certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, age certificate, bank account details, and passport-size photo issued by the zonal office, sub-divisional office, or appropriate office.

He said that to get a loan of more than Rs 50 thousand, it is mandatory to attach a DPR related to self-employment with the application.
