Life: 4 good habits that enhance life duration!

We may not live to be 100, but we can work towards a long and healthy life. It is very important for people who are genetically at risk of death at an early age to adopt healthy habits. But the question arises where to start a healthy lifestyle?

A recent study has found that by making slight changes in your daily habits, you can increase your lifespan by up to 5.5 years. The study, published in the BMJ Evidence-Based Medicine journal, analyzed data from more than 350,000 people for 13 years. Researchers took information about the genetics, socio-economic status, education, and disease history of these people. Additionally, each person was given a 'polygenetic score', which sums up the factors that influence their lifespan based on their genes. Apart from this, they were also given a score based on their lifestyle habits.

The study found that people who were genetically at risk of dying at an early age and adopted a healthy lifestyle, their lifespan increased by 5.5 years more than those who were genetically less at risk but had an unhealthy lifestyle.
