There is promising news for the youth who are actively searching for government jobs. Indian Postal Department has released a notification for recruitment to various posts including Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant and Postman Assistant. The application process for this recruitment will start from November 10, 2023. Interested candidates can apply on the official website indiapost.gov.in till December 9, 2023. A total of 1899 candidates will be appointed through this vacancy. These recruitments fall under the sports quota, allowing candidates with an interest in sports and proven athletic abilities to apply. Corrections in the application form can be made from December 10 to December 14, 2023. Candidates can apply for this vacancy till 9 December 2023.

Vacancy Details and Educational Qualification:

There are 598 posts for Postal Assistants, 143 posts for Sorting Assistants, 585 posts for Postman Assistants and 3 posts for Mail Guards. Candidates applying for Postal Assistant posts must be a graduate from any recognized institute and must have a good understanding of computer applications. Postman Assistant candidates should also have proficiency in the local language and a two-wheeler driving license. There are 570 posts earmarked for Multi-Tasking Staff and candidates applying for these posts must have passed 10th class. Salary Details and Age Limit:

Candidates age should be between 18 to 27 years old for Postal Assistant posts. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary ranging from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 as per Level 4. Sorting Assistant candidates will also get a salary in the same category. Postman Assistant candidates will be placed at Level 3 with a monthly salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100. The pay structure of Mail Guard posts will be the same. Selected Multi-Tasking Staff candidates will be placed at Level 1 with a salary ranging from Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100.
