JioCinema had partnered with Warner Bros earlier this year. Reliance's move comes at a time when the Indian streaming market is becoming increasingly competitive, with major players like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney Hotstar vying for a bigger share of the market. With this new partnership, JioCinema hopes to attract more users and strengthen its position as one of the leading streaming platforms in India. The streaming app can expect a similar surge in subscribers as Disney + Hotstar started streaming HBO content.
