The festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated today on the 6th and tomorrow on the 7th of September. According to the Hindu religion, Krishna is considered the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Tulsi is very dear to Lord Vishnu, hence avoid making 5 mistakes related to Tulsi on Janmashtami. Those who do this always lack money.

Avoid these mistakes

1. Don't touch Tulsi- If you worship Tulsi on Janmashtami, remember not to touch the Tulsi plant at all in the evening. Goddess Lakshmi herself resides in Tulsi and touching it in the evening makes Goddess Lakshmi angry.

2. Open hair- Women should never keep their hair open while worshiping Tulsi. Keep your hair tied during Tulsi Puja.

3. Tulsi leaves- If someone wants to offer Tulsi leaves to Lord Krishna, they should not be kept scratched or broken. First of all, one should pay obeisance to Tulsi. After this, break its leaves gently.

4. Parikrama- Don't forget to do parikrama after worshiping Tulsi or offering water to Tulsi. After worshiping Tulsi, circumambulate it at least thrice.
