Through examination, the ability of the candidate in a particular field is tested. Everyone takes some exam in student life. Some of these papers are for everyone and some are special and are selected only by selected candidates. We are going to tell you about some difficult exams which not everyone wants to take. The chances of getting success in these are very low. Moreover, the difficulty level is high and the number of candidates is very high. Is UPSC CSE on top?

In the list of most difficult exams in the world, UPSC is not at the top but at third place. Before this, there was an exam of India in second place which is considered more difficult than UPSC CSE. Every year lakhs of candidates appear for this exam but it is not the toughest exam in the world. Let us know who is on top.

National College Entrance Exam: It is known as Gaokao, and it is the toughest exam in the world. This examination is held in China and is conducted for high school final-year students. After passing it they get admission to college. This is a national-level exam which lasts for two days and 9 hours. Every year about 12 million i.e. 1 crore twenty lakh students participate in it.

JEE Advanced: It is an Indian engineering entrance examination conducted for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). There is a lot of discussion about the difficulty level of this exam. The top 2.5 lakh students who qualify JEE Mains exam can appear for the JEE Advanced exam. This exam is three hours and about 1.5 to 2 lakh candidates take it every year.

UPSC CSE: It is an examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission of India and is a major entrance examination for admission to government services in India. Passing this exam is very difficult and may take several years of preparation. Up to 10 lakh candidates sit at the initial level and finally, the selection is done on 800 to 1000 seats only.

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering): It is a major examination for admission to postgraduation courses in India. It is conducted in many disciplines of engineering.

GRE (Graduate Record Examination): It is conducted for admission to postgraduation courses in America. To take this exam, candidates are required to have good knowledge of the English language.

These are just a few examples and there are many more major exams across the world that are considered tough for the candidates.
