How to Lock Aadhaar Biometrics for Extra Security 🔒

Even if someone gets your Aadhaar number, they won’t be able to misuse it if your biometrics (fingerprint & iris scan) are locked. Here’s how to do it:

📌 Step 1: Visit UIDAI Website

📌 Step 2: Navigate to the "Lock/Unlock Biometrics" Section

  • Enter your Virtual ID (VID), name, PIN code, and captcha code

📌 Step 3: Lock Your Aadhaar Biometrics

  • Click "Send OTP" and verify with the code received on your registered mobile
  • Click "Lock Aadhaar" to enable biometric security

Once locked, no one can use your fingerprint or iris scan without your permission!
