Indian Navy has invited applications from unmarried eligible candidates for Short Service Commission Recruitment 2024. A total of 254 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Interested job seekers with required eligibility can apply through the official website https://www.joinIndiannavy.gov.in from 24 February to 10 March 2024.

The SSC course will commence in January 2025 at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the posts, candidates must have a bachelor's degree with 60 percent marks in the relevant course from a recognized board. Candidates can check more details about eligibility in the official notification PDF.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree. In the final selection, applicants must mandatorily submit proof of qualifying degree with at least 60% marks by sharing email at the address i.e. officer@navy.gov.in.

Application Fee

Candidates are exempted from payment of any application fee while filling out the online application form.

Salary Details

The basic salary of Sub Lieutenant posts starts from Rs 56,100. The probation period for SSC (NAIC) officers will be three years and for officers of other branches, two years.
