IMD weather report: Heatwave alert in Odisha, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu; Rain in these states, see forecast!

As soon as April started, new moods started appearing in the weather of India. Today, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heat waves in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Telangana and rain in nine states in the next few days.

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also predicted light to moderate rain and hailstorms in eastern, central and peninsular India till April 9.

IMD has issued a yellow alert predicting severe temperatures and changing conditions from April 6 to 10 in various districts of Kerala.

In Karnataka, heat wave conditions are likely to prevail in Belagavi, Bidar, Vijayapura, Bagalkot, Gadag, Kalaburagi, Haveri, Dharwad, Koppal, Raichur, Yadgiri, Ballari, Chitradurga, Davangere and Vijayanagar districts on April 8. Maximum temperatures are likely to rise gradually by 2-4 degrees Celsius over all districts of North Interior Karnataka and Bengaluru Rural and Urban, Ramanagara, Shimoga, Davangere, Mysore, Mandya, Hai and Tumkur districts of South Interior Karnataka during the next 2 days. "

Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds (speed 40-50 kmph) is expected at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh on April 9, and at isolated places on April 12 and 13. Light to moderate rain is expected.

The IMD also predicted rain from April 6 to April 12 for several areas including Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Telangana, Assam and Meghalaya.
