Whereas 113 crore people around the world suffer from hypertension every year. Not only this, about 3 lakh people lose their lives every year due to high blood pressure. If the increased blood pressure is not controlled in time, it can also cause heart attack or stroke. 

According to Swami Ramdev, bad lifestyle, stress, wrong eating habits, hereditary, excess salt intake, less water consumption, high cholesterol, increased stress, kidney and liver function not being normal, less sleep, and getting angry too much also causes the problem of high blood pressure.

Compress with ice 

Applying ice is considered the best way to reduce high blood pressure. To do this, make the person suffering from hypertension lie on his stomach. After this, put some ice in a cotton cloth and make a bundle. After this, apply this bundle to the spine of the patient. Within a few minutes, the blood pressure will be seen decreasing. 

Lauki Juice

Protein, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc as well as potassium are found in bottle gourd which helps in controlling your high blood pressure. If your BP suddenly increases, then you can immediately make a bottle of gourd juice and drink it. To make the juice, first cut the bottle gourd into small pieces without peeling it. Now put the pieces of bottled gourd, mint, coriander in a blender and grind well and extract the juice. After this, mix lemon juice well in it and drink it. If you want, you can also make juice of only bottled gourd. 

Sit under cold water:

According to Swami Ramdev, 'Shirodhara' is very effective in controlling high blood pressure. When your blood pressure suddenly rises, open the tap and sit under it. Continuous water falling on your head will reduce your blood pressure in a short time.  

This pranayama will control the increased blood pressure immediately.

By doing Sheetali Pranayama

Sheetali Pranayama, the mind and brain become calm and coolness spreads in the body. Which helps in reducing blood pressure. Therefore, you can do this pranayama. To do this pranayama, first of all, sit comfortably with the spine straight. After this, keep breathing by taking out the tongue. After this, exhale the air from the right nostril. 

Doing this asana, Shitkari,

Relieves stress and hypertension. Along with this, a large amount of oxygen goes inside. To do this pranayama, open the lips and close the teeth. Put the tongue behind the teeth, inhale slowly through the teeth and close the mouth. After holding it for a while, exhale the air from the right nostril and inhale from the left.
