When we talked to fitness expert Mukul Nagpal about this, he told us that according to WHO, children and youth aged 5 to 17 years. They should do at least 60 minutes of moderate or vigorous intense physical activity daily.

After this, people aged 18 to 64 can do at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity, aerobic physical activity a week or 75 minutes of vigorous intense activity a week or a combination of both. Muscle strength activities should be done two days a week.


People whose age is 65 or older. It is important for them also to follow the exercise routine. Attention should be paid to balance and fall prevention exercises. So that their mobility increases.

Experts say that every person should decide the exercise type and time according to his medical condition and fitness after consulting the doctor. Also, exercise should be done as per the advice of fitness experts and under their supervision.
