To keep the body hydrated in summer and to keep the body cool, people consume mango panna or shikanji. But good mangoes haven't started coming into the market yet. In such a situation, if you feel like drinking Panna, then you can make Panna without mango also. Yes, you can use pineapple instead of mango to make panna and believe me this panna will taste much better than mango panna. To make Pineapple Panna you will need-

cx

3 cups chopped pineapple
2 litres of water
4 teaspoons vinegar
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp turmeric
3/4 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp roasted cumin powder

Method
To make Pineapple Panna, first, take a pan and put 3 cups of chopped pineapple in it. Add 2 litres of water to it and add 4 tablespoons of vinegar and let it cook on the gas.
Now add 1 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 3/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp roasted cumin powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, and 1 tsp black salt and add salt as per taste.
Now let this panna mixture boil for about 20 minutes or until these pineapple pieces become soft.
Switch off the flame after 15-20 minutes. You will see that the pineapple has become very soft and will be easy to mash. During this time let it cool to room temperature.
Now put it in a blender jar and grind it finely. Our Concentrated Pulp Panna is ready.
Now take a serving glass and add some ice cubes, 2 cups of mint leaves and 2-3 tbsp of pineapple pulp and pour water over it. Our Homemade Pineapple Panna is ready. Serve it chilled.
