He could impress anyone and that is why girls were his easy target. The former jailer said that Charles would first befriend foreign girls, then call them for dinner, after which he would make them unconscious by feeding them intoxicants. After this he would rape them, not only this, he would run away with their valuables. That is why he was also called 'Lady Killer'.
He used to hypnotize the girls coming to the jail in this way
Former Tihar Jailor Gupta said that Charles used to trap the girls who came to meet him even while he was in jail. On the day a woman came to meet him in jail, Charles used to be ready with new clothes, shoes, glasses and perfume. He loved all this and his room in the jail was full of shoes and clothes, which was not illegal at that time. He said that it must have been the year 1981-82 when I was the Deputy Jailor, Charles used to meet women in my room.
When was Charles arrested for the first time?
Charles used to tell his story to the woman who came to meet him, he used to wear such strong perfume that I could smell its fragrance even sitting far away. According to the BBC report, Charles was arrested for the first time in the country in 1972, when he stole jewelry from a jewellery shop in Delhi's Ashoka Hotel. He carried out this theft by trapping a dancer of the hotel in his trap. But while running away, he forgot his passport in the room, due to which he was later arrested. However, the police could not keep Charles in Tihar for long and he got admitted to the hospital on the pretext of stomach ache and escaped from there. After this, in 1976, he was arrested for the second time when he failed to snatch the passport of a foreign tourist in Delhi.
How did he become a bikini killer?
