After playing a few overs, Imran complained of chest pain

Imran Patel came out to bat as an opener for the league match on the pitch of Garware Stadium in Pune. After playing a few overs, he complained to the umpires about severe pain in his left hand and chest. When he was returning to the pavilion after the conversation, he fell unconscious. As soon as Imran fainted, other players present on the field ran towards him. After this, he was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead after examination. Since the match was being telecast live, the entire incident was captured on camera.

Imran Patel left behind his wife and 3 daughters

According to another cricketer Naseer Khan, Imran Patel had no medical history. His physical condition was very good. He was an all-rounder who was very passionate about cricket. We are all still in shock. Patel has left behind his wife and three daughters, the youngest of whom is just 4 months old. Imran Patel was the owner of a cricket team, he had a real estate business and he also ran a juice shop.

In September, another cricketer Habib also suffered an attack

Imran's death was very similar to that of cricketer Habib Sheikh, who also died while playing a match in Pune on September 7. Habib was a diabetic patient. Experts also consider excessive exercise as a cause of heart attack. There have been many such cases where people suffered cardiac arrest in the gym due to overworkout.
