Do the Trimming

Split ends are caused due to reduced absorption of water and nutrients from the tips of the hair. Due to this, the hair cells start drying and the hair starts breaking. Therefore, it is necessary to trim the hair every 6-8 weeks.

Moisturize your hair

Dry and frizzy hair is more prone to split ends. To maintain moisture in the hair, use a good conditioner which makes your hair soft. You can also apply homemade hair masks. This helps in nourishing the hair.

Avoid heat styling

Excessive use of heat styling devices such as straighteners, curling irons or hair dryers can damage hair. Heat evaporates moisture from the hair, making it dry and weak. Therefore, try to use heat styling tools as little as possible.

Do oil massage

Massage the oil gently 2-3 times a week, and leave the oil for at least 1-2 hours, then wash it with shampoo. This will provide moisture and nourishment to the hair.

Dry properly

Do not dry your hair by rubbing or pulling it forcefully with a towel. This can cause hair fall and dryness. Let the water absorb by pressing the hair with a soft towel. After this, leave the hair to dry naturally.

Healthy Diet

The health of your hair is directly related to your diet. If you take a nutritious diet, your hair remains strong and healthy. Foods rich in protein, vitamin C, vitamin E, and iron such as green leafy vegetables, fruits, nuts, fish, and eggs can be beneficial for hair.
