Currently, his weight is 92 kg, which had once reached 130 kg.

According to HT report, Ashish Chanchlani said that at one time his weight had reached 130 kg and he was about to turn 30 years old. Then he decided to transform his fitness. On 8 June 2023, Ashish's weight had reached 130 kg and after this, he made a better plan for diet and workout. Within just 6 months i.e. by 8 December 2023, he reduced his weight to 88 kg. His 30th birthday was on 8 December and before that, he completed the task of bringing his weight to double digits.

According to Ashish, the first step he took to lose weight was to understand about fat loss. Fat loss means reducing body fat along with weight. He read about how our body works. Ashish's friend and actor Ayush Mehra had made six packs for a film and he has always been very fit. So Ashish asked him the secret behind the six-pack and this is how he came to know about calorie deficit i.e. reducing calorie intake. He watched many videos on calories and realized that calorie deficit is the only and longest, safest way to lose fat and increase muscles. Then Ashish started working on a calorie deficit.

In a calorie-deficit diet, you can include a good amount of protein and a good amount of fibre for your muscles, so that your muscles can recover properly. Everything works well together. For this, Ashish studied. He said that there are many misconceptions about fat loss and weight loss in our country. The first misconception is that walking or running can reduce your weight, but it does not reduce your fat. He learned this and started his weight loss journey. Ashish said that you cannot lose 20 years of fat in two months. He gave himself time. Every person who has done it naturally advised Ashish that it will take time.
