Delhi University released its academic calendar, knowing which exams will be held and when!

Delhi University has released an academic calendar for the year 2024. DU has announced the academic calendar for MA programs in Hindu Studies, Korean and Chinese as well as BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and other programmes. As per the released schedule, classes for Semester 1 will start from November 20, 2023. Practical examinations for these courses will be conducted from March 8, 2024, to March 15, 2024. Students can check the detailed calendar on the official website of DU.

Classes and examinations for these programs will be conducted as per the academic calendar. Academic programs include BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), Integrated Teacher Education Program and Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber ​​Security. After the written examinations start on March 16, 2024, there will be a short break from March 27, 2024, to March 31, 2024, before the start of Semester 2.

After this break, Semester 2 classes will start from April 1, 2024. The program will consist of classroom sessions, preliminary examinations and practical examinations running from July 21, 2024, to July 28, 2024. Written examinations for Mester 2 are proposed from 29 July 2024 to 11 August 2024.

It is noteworthy that Delhi University has retained its top position in the country according to the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) and is ranked 8th in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). It is one of the top 10 Indian public educational institutions/universities and holds the first position among Indian public universities in the QS BRICS University Rankings. The H-index of the university has reached 192, the highest among Indian universities.

Like last year, admissions to UG and PG courses of Delhi University were conducted through the CUET 2023 exam, where the allocation of students to colleges was done on the basis of the CUET score.
