However, there are sports that are extremely dangerous to try and can even lead to death. Here is a list of 6 sports that have become the most dangerous sports in the world.

1. Base Jumping

BASE jumping involves jumping from a point at a certain height such as a cliff, building, antenna tower, etc. A parachute is used to avoid falling. There is a high risk of failure as your life highly depends on the parachute and there is no plan if the parachute does not open in time.

Bulls weighing 1500 to 2000 pounds run the risk of being trampled in this ruthless sport. Now they added some protective gear for the riders to prevent some internal injury or even death.

3. Big Wave Surfing

If you have ever been to the beach, you must have seen people with surfing boards and yes we know it sounds tempting but it is also very risky. Big wave surfing is done in the ocean where surfers ride through waves up to a hundred feet high. The unpredictable nature of the sea and the risk of drowning from strong waves make the sport dangerous.

The sport involves climbing a mountain or rock without any harness, rope, or safety equipment. It becomes more dangerous when it reaches a height because the risk of falling from such a height can be fatal. Free solo climbing is very common among youth in many parts of the world.

Mixed martial arts is a full-contact violent sport that has gained a huge audience from all over the world over the past few decades. In this combat sport, the opponents engage in kicking, punching, and grappling that result in damage to the human body. As we all know that this fighting sport involves fist fighting and in many cases, it causes internal injury or even brain damage which at times leads to death.
